2/28/24 Updates:

  • Captions/Text Overlays are required for all social videos and images. 
         Exception: Carousel images do not need text overlay.

         Best practice: for text overlays  focus on the product or services’ value (e.g. “10% off”)

         Definitions for clarity:
            Text Overlay – Text on creatives. 

            Captions – time-synchonized text that reflects an audio track and can be read while watching visual content.
  • DO NOT include a CTA button in the video/image. CTA buttons are built within the social platform.
  • DO include the logo on all social creatives. 
  • Meta Update: Stories now only 15 seconds max
  • TikTok Update: Two safe zone options now. Can default to collapsed text version.
